A call that completes settles to your payable balance. The platform takes 10%.
When a call earns#
| What happened | Do you earn? |
|---|---|
| Your endpoint returned a success | Yes, the full price minus the 10% fee |
| You failed before any byte reached the developer | No. They are refunded automatically |
| You failed after the first byte reached them | Yes. They received part of the work and you did it |
| The developer's wallet was empty | No. The call never reached you — they got a 402 |
| The developer cancelled mid-stream | Yes. A client hanging up is not your failure |
| Our infrastructure failed to authorize the call | No. The call never reached you and nobody was charged |
How it is recorded#
Every charge becomes a double-entry row in a ledger that is append-only: database triggers refuse updates and deletes. A correction is a new entry, never an edit.
Charges are batched into five-minute rollups rather than written one row per call. Your earnings therefore appear within a few minutes rather than instantly, and the figure you see is the sum of settled rollups.
The 10% fee#
The platform fee is 10% of the call price, taken at settlement. It is visible in your earnings breakdown rather than silently netted, so the gross and the fee are both legible.
The withdrawal fee is separate and is borne by you, deducted from the amount you withdraw. It is quoted before you confirm. See payouts.
